  • Is Global Markets a Scam?

Forex trading is still plagues by scams and fraudulent brokers, or platforms that care little about the safety of your funds. Protecting your hard-earned cash is an important step that must not be overlooked. Thankfully, Global Markets checks all the necessary boxes – a heavily regulated, 100% legit broker with adequate capital protection measures.

Global Markets is overseen by the financial regulatory bodies of the Seychelles and legislated to operate in more than 25 countries – including the UK, Japan, Germany, and Australia. The platform is fully compliant with international regulations and agreements. Global Markets implements several layers of security measures and policies and takes the safety of your funds the seriousness they require.

  • Personal Data

All your personal data – including (obviously) passwords, personal details, and address, but also account balance and transactions history – is stored on on-location servers with powerful protection algorithms.

You can also opt-in for a 2-Factor-Authenticator (2FA) and receive a protection code on your mobile device whenever you try to log in.

  • Deposited Funds

Global Markets has a negative account balance policy (also known as Negative Balance Protection) – a measure which prevents traders on the platform owing money to the broker due to leverage and bad trades. Effectively, this prevents your account balance from ever going below zero and makes it impossible for you to lose more money than you have deposited.

  • What Fees and Spreads does Global Markets apply?

Global Markets doesn’t charge you for depositing or withdrawing funds from and to your account. The broker doesn’t have commissions on trades either, instead relying on spreads on leverage. Your spread depends on your account tier level, of which there are four – Silver, Gold, Platinium, and Diamond.

Silver Gold Platinium Diamond
Spreads EUR/USD 2,6 1,2 0,7 0,2
GBP/USD 4,3 1,9 1,1 0,3
USD/JPY 3 1,3 0,8 0,2
EUR/JPY 3,5 1,2 0,5 0,1

Global Markets also offers Islamic Trading Accounts to traders from Muslim-majority countries (such as Malaysia), designed to be compliant with the Sharia law and the religious practices of Muslim traders.

Each tier has access to 24/7 support, but some of the functionalities and investment products are reserved for higher-tier traders.

  • What Currencies can I use?

One of the drawbacks of Global Markets is its unimpressive list of currencies you can open an account with. This is by no means a deal breaker, but may result in unwanted currency exchange fees.

Global Markets accounts can be opened in Great British Pound (GBP), US Dollars (USD), and Euro (EUR). The three currencies do not differ in terms of account functionalities and available products.

  • How can I Deposit?

You can deposit money to your Global Markets account using one of the following four methods:

  • Wire transfer
  • Credit/Debit card
  • Paypal
  • Skrill/Neteller

All deposits must be done from sources you own in name. Global Markets doesn’t have minimum deposit volume requirement.

Bank transfers take between 3 and 5 business days to be processed, and have no upper depositing limit. The other options are instantaneous – with credit/debit cards having a limit of $20,000 per deposit, and the other options having a cut-off point at $10,000.

There are no fees applied on depositing. However your bank provider might apply extra fees on deposits to online platforms – it is worth checking with your bank what their policy is. You can also register for a multi-currency bank account, or a service such as Revolut or Transferwise, and circumvent currency exchange fees.

  • Is Withdrawing Easy?

Global Markets follows all international anti-money laundering laws, and is regulated in over 25 jurisdictions. As a result, you can only withdraw money to sources you have previously used to deposit money into your trading account. For example, if you have only ever used your credit card to deposit funds into your trading account, you can withdraw funds only back to your credit card, and not bank or PayPal account.

All withdrawal requests are processed in 7 days and require a copy of a photo ID and a bank statement. There are no fees on withdrawing money from your trading account.

  • Is the Platform Easy to Use?

Global Markets is available on PC, mobile, and through a web browser. The broker used SIRIX as their platform – a Forex interface developed and distributed by Leverage. Global Markets does not require any additional software installations, though the mobile app provides a premium trading experience on Android and iOS, and is to be preferred over the browser version on mobile devices.

The platform stands out with easily navigable layout and a clear interface, free of clutter and unnecessary information. Your account balance, along with open positions, is displayed at all times on the bottom of the interface. Global Markets shows only the information required for the current trade, but any additional tools or details can be accessed with ease.

Traders have access to over 30 visualization options, raging from the default candlestick bars to more complex statistical analyses. The platform understands that timing is at upmost importance, and allows investors to make quick informed decisions, and there is an option to enable one-click trading.

  • Mobile Trading

Global Markets is available on Android through Google Play, and on Apple devices through the App Store. The interface has been properly adapted for work on the small screen – while the basic layout stays the same, some of the less necessary windows and tabs are visible only after swiping up, or selecting them from the menu. Switching back and forth between the mobile app and the web platform is easy, and makes trading on the go intuitive and enjoyable.

  • In Conclusion – Global Markets is a Reliable Trading Partner with 100% Credentials
